HHO Browns Gas Hydrogen Fuel System Booster for Our SUV

I received a phone call from a good friend of mine a few weeks ago. The subject of hydrogen powered vehicles quickly rose to the top our conversation. Water fueled vehicles intrigued the two of us. Brad did a lot more investigating than I did and Brad had a plan. In a few days he called back to say he was two weeks from putting together a Hydrogen burning fuel system to help supplement the gasoline we were burning in our vehicles. He read a few stories about vehicles saving 20, 30 and 40% gasoline fuel consumption. I thought heck if I can get any that would be great without hurting my vehicles.

The EconomizerCreating Hydrogen gas and having it filter through the intake exhaust of our vehicles is what we built this weekend and installed it on our SUV Sunday and I tried it out Monday.

I normally get about 16.5 to 17 miles per gallon in my 2000 Ford Explorer SUV around the countryside here in southern New Hampshire. On the highway we average about 20.5-21 mpg.

I topped the tank off paying $3.99 a gallon and I had traveled 140 miles since our last fill up. I pumped in 8.253 gallons. That is an average of 16.96 miles per gallon.

I then reset all the gauges on the trip odometer and the console of my SUV.

I had to go to the Fremont town hall and the Danville town hall to pick up tax assessment cards for our real estate business. As I traveled down the road I could see my miles per gallon tick away as it climbed to 16.8 miles per gallon which usually seemed to be the norm. I had to stop at home which is only about 4 miles away from where I topped my tank off and then I headed to Fremont. As I drove across route 111 and headed north on 111A the gas mileage kept creeping higher and higher and it passed the 18.4 mpg I had achieved on the way to Brad’s son’s house in Raymond on Sunday the day we installed our “H2GO Economizer”.

I left Fremont and on the way back through Danville I noticed I had reached 20.4 miles per gallon. I then switched over to see how many gallons had been used and sure enough it had just switched from .09 to 1.0 gallons used. I was grinning ear to ear as it seemed to be performing as expected. I arrived home and called my buddy Brad to let him know the results. He said “Cool” and that his son Chris had installed one and he was gaining 2 miles per gallon on his Chevy Silverado Pick up truck that he uses for construction work.

I then realized I needed to head back out and go to Fremont again so I headed out to Route 111 and north on route 125. I must admit that I now drive a little easier and not so heavy on the foot.

I looked down as I approached my destination and noticed I had hit 21.1 mpg and as I stopped at a stop sign it actually reached 21.2 miles per gallon. Now I am psyched. I called Brad again… LOL

As I kept switching back and forth as to how many gallons I used and MPG, I noticed I had driven 44 miles and my gallons used had just turned to 2.1.

I returned home and had to go to the bank and post office and then a little later I headed out to show a couple of houses for my wife and our Buyer client. When I finished the showings I came home and had to head to the office and when I returned home I pulled into the driveway and stopped, I had driven 70 miles and used 3.5 gallons. that is 20.00 miles per gallon on average for our first day using our “H2Go Economizer”.

That averages out to about a 20% increase in fuel consumption. Brad says it takes about thirty days to get the full affect of the new hydrogen system.

I’ll keep you posted on our success.

Front DeckStaining the Deck

Well this hadn’t been done in a few years and it was in desperate need of staining. I scraped the porch and found stain left over from when we stained the house. It took only about 2 hours and it wasn’t all that bad.

Trimmed Forsythia shrubTrimming the Forsythia Shrubs

I took out my Ipod and listened to Government Mule as our Forsythia shrubs have finally finished blooming and all the flowers have fallen off. This was a good day to trim them back so they will come in nice and full next year.

LilacsPicking Lilacs

Then when I finished the Forsythia shrubs I went out back and clipped a bunch of Lilacs to put on the Kitchen counter. They sure do smell good this time of year.

After the lilacs finish blooming then I will trim them back so they will be nice and full again next spring.

Last year they were about 10-12 feet tall as I had to use a ladder to trim them back. Somehow we didn’t have as many this year as we have in the past.

Front doorStained Front Door

We have a real nice wooden front door which needed polyurethane coated on it. I ended up putting 2 coats on and it looks great I guess I should do this once a year and not wait so long between coats.

Muffler Repair Get Second Opinion

Saab 2001I have a 2001 Saab 9-5 Wagon with a little over 100,000 miles. Seems to run just fine as I change the oil regularly at 3-5,000 miles faithfully. My wife Monika took the car to Concord, NH a couple of months ago to a meeting and when she just about got there she could here some scraping noise and when she got out of the car she could see there was a problem. She asked for some help and a few guys said that there was metal hanging from under the car near the muffler.

So, when Monika was leaving a REALTOR meeting in Concord she stopped off at a garage and they told her she needed a new muffler and that the heat shields were rusted. They told her the muffler was so loose that it was ready to fall off at any moment. When Monika got home I noticed it was loose but it wasn’t all that bad. I called my mechanic and he said a new muffler would cost around $850.00 to install and he would order one and call me when it came in. I still have not heard from him.

We are headed to Washington D.C. for our annual REALTOR conference the second week of May. So, after much prodding and insisting I finally took Monika’s advice to get a second opinion and I called Meineke Car Care Center in Plaistow, NH. I had them change the oil and asked them to give me a price for a new muffler. They took me in at 10:00 this morning and by 10:40 I was on my way home.

Ernie checked me in and as he returned from the shop and mentioned I didn’t need a muffler as it was just fine and not leaking and it only needed to be anchored as it was a little loose. It is stainless steel and does not rust. The heat shield’s were rusted but not falling off. He welded the piece to the frame that was loose and changed the oil and I was all set to go. It cost me $20.00 to get the welding done.

It pays to listen to your wife and get a second opinion. I am pissed at the garage in Concord as they were definitely trying to take advantage of a women woman.
