Home sales in Danville, New Hampshire for January 2009 vs January 2008.

Well, Danville, NH  stayed the same in volume compared to last year and I am sure there will be a couple more sales posted Monday or Tuesday as firms have 48 hours to post their sales from the time the property closes.

If your home is priced to sell it will sell quickly.

Prices on average are down as well along with price per square foot. Days on Market have increased.

Meeting HouseJanuary and February 2008 was a little quiet here in Hampstead, New Hampshire for single family home sales. We had only 5 homes that actually closed.

January and February of 2007 was even quieter than 2008 as we had only 4 single family homes close.

Atkinson Town HallHere are some interesting home sales statistics for Atkinson, NH comparing 2006 closed sales to our 2007 closed sales.

As you can see inventories are still on the rise. While we venture into the fall market we will probably see fewer buyers and hopefully fewer homes entering the marketplace.

Atkinson is a few miles over the Massachusetts boder on Route 121 just off route 125 at exit 51B off Interstate 495 in Haverhill, MA. Just make sure you don’t head too far north on route 125.

Danville is a small town located just east of Hampstead and boasts a great area for commuting to the Seacost and points north and south. When you drive through Danville make sure you don’t blink as you’ll drive right through the center without seeing it.
