I’m a psychic medium who lives in Contoocook, and Sean came to my psychic partner and I last night with a message for Amanda. If anyone could relay it to her for me, that would be great. He needs her to know “I am ok.” He didn’t elaborate, but he was charming, and polite, and really kind of funny. Fantastic energy. I know I sound like a freak, but I have to get this message out to Amanda. He told us her name, and we discovered she was his girlfriend when we looked at a later article regarding his death when he’d given us the message. Hopefully someone will know Amanda and this will make an impact on something she’s doing. It seems important.

Dear Jay…
I hope that this blog is still active!
My name is Martin Nyhuis, Sean and I were good friends during our stay in the Marine Corps.
We were also roommates for most of our enlistment. I had the privalege of meeting Sean in 2003 during our MOS
training for desiel mechanics, we then went on together to the 10th Marines in Camp Lejeune
and even spent our first tour in Iraq together! We would spend a whole lot of time working on his Toyota pick up truck, took several road trips together and just all around enjoyed each others company.
I also clearly remember the day he bought that Harley ;o( It was his pride and joy!
Before we went our seperate ways after our enlistment had come to an end, we promised to stay in touch over the years to come. However I sadly regret the we didnt hold up to our agreement and over the process of changed phone numbers and addresses we lost touch.
A couple years ago I attempted to find him through the internet, myspace, and even facebook…I spent many hours searching all kinds of ways to get back in contact with him. However, it wasnt until a few months ago that I discovered that I was searching for him in the wrong places.
When I found and read the title of first bing search that came up my stomach droped, and I could barely even
stand to open the link… I prayed that it wasnt him and I hoped it wasnt true, but once I opened the page and saw his picture there my eyes watered (Marines dont cry) and my heart broke.
Today I found your website and I felt the need to contact you.
Sean was my friend… he was a good man, and he was one of our nations true heros.
He dedicated his life to protecting and serving others and he will truley be missed!!!

I am very much saddened to just learn of this tremendous tragedy. I knew of Sean personally. My son and Devin were practicality best friends in school. I also knew of Sean from scouting when I was Scoutmaster for 3 1/2 years. The last time I saw Sean was August 6th 2000 when I took my son Devin, Sean and the police chief’s son to an AC DC concert. Sean was nursing a leg injury at the time in was in a cast. Needless to say we all had a great time. Because of a most acrimonious divorce I never, and unfortunately so, never saw Sean again. In fact I haven’t even seen my my own 3 children in the last 11 years. That’s another tragedy and story.

Sean was kind of special to me in what ever roll he was in to me. I shall never forget Sean. He comes from a great family. Marilyn and Pete have always been the greatest parent to their boys. Old man Pete and I were good friends before my divorce. I remember asking Pete if he would testify during my divorce that I was a great father. You know what Pete said to me? He said Lenny, “the whole town knows you are a great dad.” I wish the courts saw it that way. Anyways I will always remember Pete’s words and I shall never ever forget Sean. He truly was a great kid, a great human being.

Its been said, “As long as people talk about you, you
don’t really die. As long as people speak your name, you continue. The legend
doesn’t die because the man does.”

Please give my most condolences to Marilyn, Pete, and the boys.

I’m sorry to hear this. I served the 1st tour in iraq with Sean and i just wanted to say it’s because of him that i’m still in the Marine Corps. He always talked me out of doing something dumb, rather it was good advice or making me laugh. May god bless his family..
