Hampstead New Hampshire Real Estate in the Snow

Well it’s the day before Winter starts and I have had it with all the snow we have had. We have had 3 storms in the past week.
As you can see, Monika’s Ford Explorer is almost hidden from the snow bank. I do most of the snow removal by shovel. I did have Monika’s son plow the driveway during Sunday’s storm.
I enjoy shoveling as it gives me a good workout. I know I am burning calories but my back is starting to feel it. I noticed today that my forearms are getting tired and I can hardly raise my arms over my head. It is getting hard to throw the snow any higher than it is now.
It is supposed to get a little warmer this weekend but rain is in the forecast for Sunday’s Patriots game. I wonder if it will be cold enough to snow. It can snow down there but not up here. We are about an hour and a half north of Foxborough, Ma. where the Patriots play.
Now my next big project is to remove the snow from my roof. It has been a while since I have had to do that. I do have a snow rake for the roof. Next I will have to take the snow off the motor home. I am not looking forward to that. Come on February as we are heading to Florida for a week.

Hampstead New Hampshire Real Estate Sales thru August of 2007 vs. 2006

Filed under NH Real Estate Stats.
Real Estate Sales in Hampstead, New Hampshire continue to be sluggish. I have a couple of charts showing the activity for our year to date stats. compared to solds from 2006.

Looks like we have sold 20 less home this year than the same time frame for 2006.
This is just single family homes being used for this post.

Hampstead New Hampshire Condo Sales ‘06 vs. ‘07

Hampstead has seen an increase in Condominium projects the past few years. These projects offer great opportunities for buyers that do not want to keep up with yard work or worry about roofs, siding and windows which make condo living very relaxing. I was surprised to see that condo sales were up compared to last year.
Could this be that the Baby Boomers are moving into less maintainable housing?
Hampstead is close to Interstate 93 and 495 with easy access from State Route 111.
