Valentine’s Day and the Nor’Easter of 2007

Well it is Valentine’s day and my wife Monika’s birthday. I have been out shoveling a couple of times and we have about 9 inches of snow on the ground already.

I cooked her breakfast and made her coffee and I let her sleep in. Well, it’s not like I would have had a say in it anyway. She doesn’t need my permission to sleep in.

She’s had a lot of phone calls today wishing her a happy birthday and Valentines day to go along with a bunch of cards and email wishes.

Monika was supposed to teach a class tomorrow up at the Sunapee Board of REALTORS but we received a call early this morning canceling due to the snow storm. They are expected to receive upwards of 2 feet by the end of today. They rarely cancel classes but they didn’t think the parking lot would be plowed out in time.
